Whatever you type into the submission form, if you send us a recipe or story — including your name and, optionally, your location.

Your email address and order details, if you buy a digital guide. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.

Basic, aggregated traffic data: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from. Not tied to your name.

To send you the newsletter you asked for. To deliver the guide you downloaded or bought. To talk to you about a submission. To understand which recipes people actually read, so we know what to work on next.

That is the whole list. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell or rent your details to anyone.

Stripe processes payments and sees what is necessary to take one. Our email provider sees your address to deliver mail. Our hosting and database providers store the data.

Each of these is a processor acting on our instructions, not a party we sell to.

Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Order records: as long as tax and accounting rules require, typically six years. Submissions: until you ask us to remove them.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or state privacy laws.

Email us and we will action it. We will not make you justify the request.

The site itself sets no tracking or advertising cookies. If we add analytics, we will use a privacy-preserving option and say so here before it goes live.
